Country Manager Rwanda

This position will report to the General Manager of LFL Group and will be based in Rwanda. 

The main role is to ensure that the company's goals and objectives are aligned with the local market conditions, customer needs, and regulatory environment. This requires managing a team of local staff, coordinating with the mother company, and developing and executing the business plan for the country or region.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Involves in setting and monitoring the budget, revenue, and expenses for the country or region.
  • Develops and implements marketing, sales, and distribution strategies for products or services, establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as customers, partners, suppliers, media, and government agencies.
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise in the country or region as well as reporting and communicating progress, performance, and feedback to senior management and other relevant parties.
  • Identifies and pursues growth opportunities in the local market. This includes expanding the customer base, forging partnerships, and exploring new business channels.
  • Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability and financial stability.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, government agencies, and local partners.


Qualification and
Profile

  • Masters or MBA in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is essential.
  • A solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning is essential as this role involves agreeing annual budgets as well as producing financial reports.
  • A strong understanding of how a business operates.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Promotes teamwork and collaboration, empowers others and builds relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Needs to have knowledge and experience of the sector their company operates within. They must fully understand the products and services provided by the company.
